Vivi here stands for Vivacious – and she is “Life” personified. She is a star performer – plays Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball. She’s also a runner – a true athlete.

 

She sticks to French Food and loves sports (rightly so). She’s into music, loves hanging out with friends adores travelling to new and exciting places.

 

She could give any supermodel a run for her money. And when it comes to sport, she means serious business. A no nonsense player, she doesn’t believe in words – she believes in performance, which is the spirit of a true Stallion!!

SWAPNEEL JAIN

Swapneel is the Kapil Dev of the team. Having played Cricket for his College, he’s all set to rock UWL with his prowess. He also tries his hand at badminton and Table Tennis for kicks.

 

He is not fussy about cuisines – he just loves what’s on his plate.

 

He is looking forward to the League and can’t wait to get on that field!!

Soumayadeep Ganguly aka Dada

Our dude here is one of the few blessed people on earth who make an extra effort to gain weight. He’s full on for it, and how!! This stallion is into Cricket, Volleyball and Chess.

 

His greatest achievement so far is a compliment he received from Prusty a few days ago – “You played awesome!!” Soumu was on Cloud#9!!

 

He won’t be seen without his lucky wristband at the League.

 

This Bengali Babu is playing for The Southern Stallions – Do you smell a rat!!

 

Soumu is not happy that he’s single – so all you fans out there – here’s your big chance!! And what does our hero have to say to all you lovely people out there?

 

“One Dada’s end marks another Dada’s beginning!!”

 

If you want to bribe him, all you need to do is get him Chocolate Avalanche! And he’s all yours. ()

 

When he’s not shuttling around for placecom work and playing, he’s indulging in his favourite hobby, which is ‘Bakar’ as he puts it.

Ritu Raj

The quizzer himself, he is a walking encyclopedia, alright. But more than that, he is a hard core Counterstriker. He also plays Cricket, Football and Volleyball with elan.

 

A reverted finger joint while playing Volleyball did not deter this stallion with determination of steel and he’s still going strong.

 

His sense of humour couldn’t be better timed. He loves to read, watch movies and hold your breath ladies – write poetry. Yes, this gamer is also a poet.. so watch out for him as he canters into the League!!

Nithin R Nayak aka Longfellow

A true athlete, Nithin plays every sport there is under the sun. Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Darts, Carrom, Motorsports, even Beer Guzzling – you name it.

The quiet steed, he doesn’t believe in talking or socializing at all. He likes to maintain a somber aura around himself. He says his favourite food is whiskey and beer. And that my friends, is pretty much it :)

NIKHIL GOYAL aka Llamrei

He is a man of a few words. But his silence speaks volumes. Who needs to talk when you are invincible on No Man’s Land?

 

He plays Cricket, Badminton, Counterstrike and Chess. He is also into Bowling. His message to everybody – “Never lose hope and the sight of your goal” Couldn’t be more apt for Nikhil

 

He can survive on a deserted island for years as long he is supplied with Paneer and Sizzlers of sorts regularly.

 

He loves to hang out with friends and is looking forward to the League where he will show his true mettle. And we can’t wait!!

NEHA GULATI aka Rustam

More popularly known in the batch for the way she answers her roll call, everyone waits eagerly for the roll call in any batch meet to hit the customary “Nieentee”.

 

This girl is a sport freak. She is an avid supporter of Chelsea and Real Madrid. Arguing with her will only lead to trouble. Don’t complain that you weren’t warned earlier. She loves to watch Kimi Raikkonen zoom past in F1. When it comes to Tennis, she cheers for Novak and Rafa. Fedex fans, watch out!!

 

Her Jersey No. 14 stands by her in every game and you won’t see her without it.

 

She is a Basketball pro and an ace at Lawn Tennis.

 

She loves to binge after a good workout or a long game on Continental or Italian food. In KT’s words – “Angrez chale gaye, isse chchod gaye”

 

In her spare time, when she’s not taking her midnight health walks, she is singing anthems at Buzz, dancing her heart out and watching tennis and football.

 

Neha is one sprited gal – the free spirit of a galloping Stallion over wild waters.. Kudos to her!!

Amandeep Matta aka ROCKSTAR

Always greeted by chants that go “Matta Rocks!!”, Aman truly knows how to set the ball rolling wherever he lands his feet.

 

He is an ace when it comes to Cricket, Volleyball and Football. He thrives on Tanku’d dinners and his favourite – Chinese food. He loves to cook (ladies – your man!!), drink his regular two pints of Kingfisher Light and give his deep, profound insights into Life and more, and of course, eating. He is a foodie – ok he like to call himself a connoisseur.

Faguni Jain aka RUSTY

She is the only girl in the junior batch who plays Counterstrike. And watch for her. She is one lean mean killing machine when it comes to the field.

 

She’s also our very own Grandmaster in the Battlefield of Chess. She’s got moves that you haven’t seen :-)

 

Faguni is a home rat. She loves home cooked food. She swears by her mother’s ring as her kucky charm and keeps it with her before every game.

 

She loves to take long walks around campus. That keeps our player here as fit as a fiddle! 

Manu (Emmanuel) aka Rosinante

Emmanuel, our man is one colourful person. There are many layers to him and yes, he truly is full of surprises. For the ladies he has just one thing to say – “Call Me!!” (Please contact his brand managers for his personal phone number)

 

He is a French National 2 Champion, 2002 and 2003 in Swimming. Besides that, he is also into Football, basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Table Tennis.

 

He can gulp down loads of Paneer, which comes across as quite a surprise if one takes a look at him. He has a sweet tooth too – and he adores European desserts, well rightly so!!

 

He loves to hang out with friends when he’s free. A few drinks down, a happy high Manu is a lohot of fun!!

DILIP aka Slam Dunk D

Dilip is versatility personified. Whether it is work or play, he’s at it, and how!! He can be dead serious when it comes to work and he can be one wild party animal when it comes to letting one’s hair down. He is a big foodie – Punjabi, South Indian, Mexican, Chinese – you name it, he eats it :-)

 

He is an ace at Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis and yes, Beer Guzzling. He is a voracious reader and he loves to travel. He’s into music too – and is known as the Ozzy Osbourne of the batch. Another lesser known fact about our Stallion here is that he is a maestro when it comes to cooking too.

DEBMAN MUKHERJEE aka Bucephalus

Just like every third Bengali, our man here is a true blue Cricket fanatic. Having represented his district in Under-16 and Under-19 categories, he breathes the game. He also plays football and volleyball with panache.

 

He is all modesty when asked about his fans.

 “My  Fan ???  Really ?????  Please give me your autograph!!”

 

He describes his relationship status as exciting.. Ahem.. Let’s just leave it at that ;-)

 

His hobbies include “going places”. The rest is left to the readers’ imagination.

So be assured – The Southern Stallions really ARE going places with Debman on board!!

Angelique MICHON best known as Angie or Angel

She may look like she couldn’t harm you, but wait till she gets on the field. She could be one tough player to tackle. Her spirit seeps into the team and she reflects the “NEVER SAY DIE” attitude that brings out the killer instinct in the team.

Angie loves to play Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball and Darts. At UWL, she also looks forward to try her hand at Cricket, which according to her, would be quite an adventure!

A self-confessed chocoholic, she knows how to enjoy life to the fullest.

Her current obsession is to discover India and all its colours. We hope that she unearths all the secrets this country has to offer. But for now – Allez Angie!!!

HARJEE MAKKAR aka PEGASUS

Let’s begin with our ICON player, the one and only– Mr. Harjee Makkar. Standing tall with a towering personality, he makes his presence felt wherever he goes. A true sportsman in every sense of the word, he believes that

Whoever said, 'It's not whether you win or lose that counts,' probably lost. "Winning isn't everything. It's the only thing."

 

With the makings of a true Leo, he believes in living life KING SIZE. Give him “Makke di Roti and Sarson da Saag” with a huge glass of Lassi and you have got one happy Sardar!!

 

He’s always game for a trek and you just have to say the word ‘rafting’ and he’s up and about. He loves to watch movies among other things, if you know what I mean..

 

He’s a pro when it comes to playing Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis and even Darts. He has a legacy behind him – has been the Captain of the Volleyball teams in school and in college and has even represented his school in Squash at district level.
